The platform

Never handle a client questionnaire again.

Your client answers one plain questionnaire at home, guided question by question. Clearhour fills your documents from their answers, every entry checked, ready for your review and signing. Enduring powers of attorney first, from ready-made New Zealand forms, then any document your firm uses.

The job this replaces

The same names, addresses and appointments, re-keyed page by page into one form after another, then re-keyed again for the spouse.

Enduring powers of attorney are the first ready-made set, because they are the worst of the re-typing. The same questionnaire carries whatever your firm adds next.

Filled exactly, never restyled

Where a form is prescribed, the prescribed form is the only approved form, so the system never varies it. Official forms are filled exactly as issued, your own documents exactly as you supply them. Signature pages and personal sections are left for you and your client, by design. If a questionnaire is incomplete it refuses and lists what is missing in plain English, instead of guessing.

Checked before you rely on it

Every run produces a record of every entry it made and the page it sits on, checked against the full field map. You review, you sign off. The system does the typing and only the typing, so legal judgement stays where it belongs.

How it works

1

Send one link

Add the client, pick the documents you need. They get a link and answer at home, saving as they go, leaving anything blank for you to pick up.

2

The answers come back

The finished questionnaire returns to your firm. Clearhour briefly holds an encrypted file it cannot open, and deletes it on delivery.

3

You review and sign off

Your documents come back filled and checked, with a record of every entry and the page it sits on. The lawyer signs off. The system never does.

Common questions

How is this different from the document tools firms have tried?

It is built on your exact forms and keeps the personalisation: your common clause options are pre-loaded and the bespoke path stays open, so you are never telling a client the form will not allow it. It is also not limited to one kind of document.

Does it alter the prescribed forms?

Never. The official forms are filled exactly as issued, not restyled, because a varied form risks having no effect.

Where does client information sit?

Your client answers in their own browser. When they finish, the completed questionnaire travels to your firm as an encrypted file that Clearhour cannot open, and is deleted on delivery. If your client asks the assistant to explain a question, what they type or say for that explanation is sent through Clearhour's server to our AI provider (Anthropic) and is not stored.

Who checks the output?

You do, and the system makes that fast: every run produces a record listing every entry it made and which page it sits on. The lawyer signs off. The system never does.
