Clearhour is for
- Firms of one to twenty lawyers doing enduring powers of attorney, lasting powers of attorney, advance directives and similar client-answered documents in New Zealand, Australia (New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria today), and England and Wales.
- Firms anywhere that want their own forms filled from a client questionnaire. You upload your form, we read it, your client answers, and you review.
Not yet
- United States firms wanting a shelf of state forms. That is coming state by state; today you bring the form and we build the questionnaire around it.
- Firms wanting Clearhour to draft wills or trusts. We fill official forms and your own precedents. We do not write legal content.
- Firms needing a practice-management sync today. Clio is first, then LEAP and Actionstep; dates are on the changelog and the integrations page.
How it works, in four lines
- You add a client and pick the documents. They get a link that only works for them.
- They answer at home, guided question by question, with an assistant that explains a question and voice input per field.
- Their answers come back to you encrypted. You review and complete anything they left for you.
- Every document generates filled exactly as issued, checked entry by entry, ready for your review and signature.
What we do not do
Give legal advice, file anything, or see your client's documents. The documents are generated in your browser and sealed to your firm's key. See security for exactly where your client's information goes.
